Interview with God

I dreamed I had an interview with GOD.
8 }! i" I% _0 k3 J- x$ Q我在梦中被上帝接见。
v2 X( J$ ^4 ^“So you would like to interview me?” GOD asked.
5 p" q0 w' m8 d2 i8 k! u“你想采访我是吗?”上帝问道。
! l; S3 N5 b' u8 `“If you have the time,” I said. " J0 c+ P, ~ [" E6 A6 R

GOD smiled. B5 r- E3 j9 \8 V& x$ [
“My time is eternity...
% |1 `$ Y; G% g( P ...what questions do you have in mind for me?”

“What surprises you most about humankind?”

“That they get bored with childhood,

and then long to be children again.”

“That they lose their health to make money... 0 `4 U1 V1 T# M; _! n
and then lose their money to restore their health.” ! N" x6 k0 ?- f7 V8 ]7 G% e7 s

" ~# k; L* L0 W$ y, I# ]3 I8 h“That by thinking anxiously about the future, 7 K7 a& q# m& S! O
they forget the present, / u3 Z2 S+ f0 M
such that they live in neither the present nor the future.”

GOD’s hand took mine and we were silent for awhile.

“As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons you want your children to learn?” ' g5 a! c2 f1 g' A

and it can take many years to heal them.”

“To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most,
