6 `  O; X( n9 Y7 _7 c: f, wSmithfield, New South Wales - Carbon Polymers has been awarded a Victorian Government tender worth more than $1 million to supply 2,000 mt of granular crumb rubber to Sprayline Services. Sprayline is the commercial contracting arm of VicRoads, responsible for bitumen resurfacing. The company utilizes rubber from recycled tires and bitumen, a method that is environmentally friendly, reduces water penetration, increases aggregate retention and reduces pavement cracking. Sprayline is a pre-qualified supplier to the Victorian, New South Wales and South Australian road authorities. Carbon Polymers has manufacturing and processing facilities throughout Australiam and is in the process of negotiating with several manufacturers of bitumen products that utilize rubber.
