Record number of attendees at TRFA meeting

- k4 ?2 Y" N# {6 [Glen Ellyn, IL - When the Thermoset Resin Formulators Association (TRFA) met September 11-13 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, it welcomed a record 144 attendees to its annual meeting, along with 19 Table top showcase exhibitors and 14 technical paper presentations. TRFA also presented its Excellence in Thermoset Polymer Research Award to Rongpeng Wang, a doctoral student in chemistry at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, for his paper, “Epoxidized Glycidyl Ester of Soybean Oil as Reactive Diluent for Epoxy Resin.” The award was established in 2010 to encourage and recognize advances in the science & engineering of the thermoset polymer industry.
