Ansell’s profit increases 15 percent

Richmond, Australia - Ansell announced a full year profit attributable to shareholders of $121.7 million, a 15 percent increase on the previous year’s $106.2 million. EPS was 91.6 cents, also up 15 percent. A final dividend of 19.0 cents per share unfranked, payable on September 21 was declared. The full year dividend is therefore 33.0 cents, up 8 percent over last year. The company said sales of $1.2 billion were up 11 percent on the previous year and EBIT of $136.9 million was up 8 percent on the previous year. Ansell also announced a new on-market buyback of up to five million shares.
