0 @. g7 @8 y9 h  y/ D& }% b4 ~Nairobi, Kenya - The Nairobi Star reports that a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the government with East Africa Latex Manufacturing to start producing condoms and other rubber products in Kenya. Industrialization permanent secretary Karanja Kibicho said the government would be a major buyer of condoms and other latex product including rubber gloves used by public and private hospitals around the country. The factory is expected to commence local production of the rubber products by December. The Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation is to partner with the EALM, to fund the inaugural manufacture of the condoms.
