+ V4 Q) k( O8 \: g3 J2 S. k- R) p2 GWorks under the direction of the Manager Polymers to guide the product creation teams, T1 chemical teams, and relevant T2 suppliers to ensure the maintenance of brand standards and development of industry leading compounds and processes within the designated area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
, B# `# K1 y& [* d- u+ t, q9 d; t% {• Conducts trials to successfully commercialize new compounds. Supervises trials and documents results.
• Work with T1 and T2 adhesive suppliers to develop bonding process for new models and materials.
+ O% A4 B  F1 I+ V9 O' ~• Conducts QIP audits of T1 rubber and EVA facilities.
• Works with Quality Head and Operations Teams to evaluate defective returns and claims. Develop and implement recommendations for improvement
1 U  r1 b( p! }  A! p; z* _, V• Validates compound cost breakdowns for new developments.
( P: M- v, P( c* Z• Supports SEA and T1 efforts to improve health and safety of the working environment.

7 A) r9 M0 x, G5 Y2 OKnowledge, skills and abilities required:
0 E2 x: u& N/ |3 h' X7 H* ]+ Y2 w• Strong understanding of chemical raw materials and bonding processes in footwear manufacturing.
8 P/ \- y9 ~6 _" c0 h- c: b7 p! s• Good understanding of costing principles.
" q9 l0 U6 I( {; p4 y" O• Analytical skills for problem solving and for creation, planning and delivering of project work.
- O& D9 E, S5 N9 x" L• University degree with major in Chemistry/Polymer Science
* `/ a$ g1 Q6 d+ L• At least 2 years working experience in the technical department of a shoe factory or footwear brand.
