The seven-year-old: “Father is great, he knows everything.”
七岁的时候：“爸爸是个伟大的人，他什么都知道。”

The fourteen-year-old:” It seems that sometimes he is wrong…”
. I- j) {7 R5 j. o9 q十四岁的时候：“好像爸爸有时候也犯错误。”

The twenty-year-old:” His thoughts are out of date.”
二十岁的时候：“老爸的思想已经过时了。”

: Y+ z& o; O7 S/ |$ ^. bThe twenty-five-year-old:” The old father knows nothing at all.”
二十五岁的时候：“老爸什么都不懂。”

; v3 \  V4 ^+ aThe thirty-five-year-old:” If father was as wise as I am now, he would have become a millionaire.”
三十五岁的时候：“如果爸爸当年有我现在这么聪明，他早就成为百万富翁了。”

8 [7 d& h+ Q& V  B# F" g/ X' NThe forty-five-old:” I am not sure whether I should discuss this matter with father, maybe he will give me some advice.”
四十五岁的时候：“我不知道是否我应该和父亲商量一下这件事，也许他会给我一些建议。”

, L" u( {% _: ]$ n* o' i1 q0 q5 sThe fifty-five-year-old:” It is a pity that father is dead. To be frank, some of his ideas are quite good.”
3 k# e* W4 a# `' i, C  @五十五岁的时候：“很遗憾，父亲已经去世了。坦率地讲，他的有些主意的确不错。”

% T; T5 s. I* ?& e: x六十岁的时候：“我亲爱的爸爸，你是一个几乎无所不知的人，只可惜我太迟认识到这一点。”
