O2 J, }' b8 A Beijing, China - Data released by China's General Administration of Customs show that China's imports of natural rubber in April were 230,000 tons, unchanged from last month imports. China imported a total of 86 million tons in the first four months this year, representing an increase of 32.7 percent over the same period last year. In April, China's natural rubber imports amounted to U.S. $653,198 million, a decline of 3.77 percent. Before April, imports amounted to $2,454,263 thousand, an increase of 10.9 percent. The Japan Rubber Trade Association released the latest data show that as of April 30, the Japanese ports rubber inventories increased by 0.7 percent to 16,094 tons compared to 15,976 tons in April 20. The data show that the the natural latex inventory increased from 336 tons to 349 tons of solid synthetic rubber stocks fell to 1,337 metric tons from 1,414 metric tons.
