Trelleborg has announced a rather unusual partnership. Teaming-up with ‘The World’s Strongest Man’ contest, the tire manufacturer is to provide the competition with it’s 520/85R42 TM600 tires for use in the lifting stages.; ?- P& ^: V) S, O5 U
5 e& T4 c4 b1 E" L9 L" r; _Weighing in at almost 500lb each, the tires will form an integral part of the competition. ““Trelleborg tires are usually the things demonstrating their strength while carrying high loads in fields and on road,” explains Jeff Jankowski, sales director agricultural and forestry tires, Trelleborg Wheel Systems U.S. “But as one of the challenges in the World’s Strongest Man competition, the tables are turned. It is the competitors showing their strength when lifting Trelleborg tires. In order to meet the demands of our end users for higher farming productivity, all our products are continuously undergoing a significant number of challenging tests, just like the World’s Strongest Man athletes.”" I# L0 b0 ^7 b" S0 @: E
