Retreading workshop added to Indian Rubber Expo

Mumbai, India - The Indian Rubber Institute and All India Rubber Industries Association is organizing a workshop on retreading technology as a part of the Indian Rubber Expo and Tyre Show – 2013 in Mumbai on January 23, 2013. The workshop will start with a keynote address by Brian J. Lawton, U.K., who has 25 years of experience in technical and production aspects of both new and retread tires. He was a member of the Rubber Industries Advisory Committee. In his keynote address, he will focus on “The Effect of Technological and Legislative Developments in the Field of Retreading.” Immediately after the keynote address, eminent technologists in the field of compounding, quality assurance, BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) regulations, developments in retreading and repair technology will be presenting papers. This will be followed by a panel discussion. The panel consists of technologists from the field of tire and retreading technology, compounding specialists, members from standards organizations, tread rubber manufacturing and repair material.
