Roembke’s formidable growth trajectory over 35 years is marked by its current status as being the largest manufacturer in the industry focused on building molds for the rubber industry with onsite engineering design, manufacturing, analysis and control, all located in one facility in Ossian, IN. Founded by CEO John Roembke in 1977, the ISO 9001 (2008) registered company began its modest inception as a ‘mom & pop’ shop with a single 2,500 sq. ft. facility. An experienced mold-maker who began his career as flashless molding for the rubber industry originally came into play in the 1960s, Roembke and his wife Betty forged their path as mold-makers at the new facility with exactly zero customers and zero employees. Charting consistently steady growth every year since, Roembke Mfg. & Design, Inc. has evolved over nine expansions into its current incarnation, boasting a state-of-the-art facility over 62,000 sq. ft. that hosts approximately 50 dedicated moldmaking professionals. Roembke has engineered this progression by building consistently innovative molds for tight tolerance precision sealing applications for healthcare, medical, automotive, consumer and associated manufacturing industries.
