Akron, OH - The Rubber Division, ACS, is now accepting online abstract submissions for the Spring 183rd Technical Meeting being held April 22-24, 2013, in Akron, OH. Scheduled symposia include: Analytical Techniques for Material Characterization, chair: Ali Dhinojwala, The University of Akron; Impact and Risk Assessment of Environmental Emissions on the Rubber Industry, chair: Julie Panko, ChemRisk Corporation; Crystallinity in Polymers, chair: Arnis Paeglis, Paeglis Polymer Consulting; Performance and Testing of Rubber Compounds for Non-Tread Applications, chair: Ping Zhang, Cabot Corporation; Contributed papers, chair: Cal Moreland, Michelin Tire; Science & Technology Award Winners Symposium, chair: Marie Ellul, ExxonMobil Chemical; and Recycling and Use of Waste Rubber. Abstract deadline is October 1, 2012, and the presentations are due March 25, 2013.
