Star Thermoplastics expands plant

! y9 I7 T9 m. z' ]1 ~0 KBroadview, IL - Star Thermoplastics announced that the firm has expanded its physical plant for sales, service and corporate administrative personnel into new offices which adjoin their 47,000 square foot production and laboratory facilities. The new offices add another 5,000 square feet and include conference areas, offices, new communications equipment, a variety of new software for administrative systems and order tracking and increased customer support services. President Thomas A. Dieschbourg said sales during the past six months have surpassed any other in the company’s history. Dieschbourg notes these figures are attributable to stronger efforts by the firm’s growing sales force, entry into and growth in new markets among them consumer products and pet products, and enhanced TPE product offerings that are, arguably, unique in the TPE industry. The latter include the ability of the firm, through the capabilities of their new laboratories, to clone any other SEBS-type TPE currently on the market, and TPEs that match or outperform higher priced TPVs (thermoplastic vulcanizates).
