Lanxess has announced a partnership with the UK’s National Tyre Distributor’s Association (NTDA) to help improve understanding and knowledge of the forthcoming labeling legislation.

Effective from November 1, the legislation is set to change the retail sector of the industry, by providing customers with a specific set of details about each tire. Many believe that whilst potentially bringing clarity to the consumer, there is still the potential for confusion. As a result of this, Lanxess has created a downloadable app for iPhone, iPad and Android devices that allows retailers to demonstrate the potential savings on offer. See our interview with Christoph Kalla here, who explains the app in detail.

“This is an important partnership for the industry,” added Richard Edy, director of the NTDA. “Lanxess and the NTDA have complementary knowledge and experience. We have a strong connection to the UK network of tyre retailers and distributors and understand what they need to do their jobs effectively.” |
