Titan International acquire Planet Group

Agricultural and heavy industry tire manufacturer Titan International has announced its acquisition of Planet Corporation.

; v  J- M0 i4 \% xPlanet, is an Australian OTR wheel and tire manufacturer, whose subsidiaries include National Tyres, Acme Wheel, Resource Tyre and Choice Tyres Wholesalers. The Perth based company has agreed to sell a majority share hold in itself to Titan International.

Planet’s expertise in mining, agriculture, construction and earthmoving industries are ideally suited to the Titan portfolio, and it is expected that it will become a subsidiary of Titan Mining Services. A press release from Titan stated that “This transaction demonstrates Titan’s initiative to grow the OTR tire and wheel business worldwide.”
