Latest Nanoenergy tire from Toyo gains highest rating yet

Toyo tires has announced its new flagship eco-tire, the Nanoenergy Zero. The fuel-efficient tire is the latest of the Nanoenergy tires to achieve an ‘AAA’ grade rating under the JATMA tire labeling system.

$ x2 y9 C% m) @$ {! {$ x% l& A$ z3 rThe tire is said to make use of ‘Nano Balance Technology’, which focuses on the application, and construction of rubber at a nano level. The Zero has been awarded the ‘AAA’ accolade in rolling resistance, much like its predecessors, however, unlike the Nanoenergy One and Two, the Zero also achieves a grade ‘A’, in wet grip performance.

At present, the Nanoenergy range is only available in the Japanese domestic market, but the range is scheduled for a European launch in October 2012
