Henniges Automotive completes Nomaseal acquisition

Farmington Hills, MI - Henniges Automotive has completed the acquisition of Nomaseal s.r.o., an automotive industry supplier of weatherseals. The company has a manufacturing facility in Hranice, Czech Republic, and a sales and technical center in Viersen, Germany. The closure of this transaction will strengthen Henniges’ ability to provide technical support and manufacturing expertise to European customers and global programs. Nomaseal is highly regarded as the industry leader in TPE static sealing systems. They design, develop and manufacture TPE weatherseals for automobiles with a strong and respected management team who are well versed in rubber and TPE technology. “The Nomaseal company provides an excellent complement to Henniges Automotive,” Robert DePierre, chief executive officer of Henniges Automotive, commented, “With this acquisition, Henniges will be able to provide sealing system products and services for our customers who have been requesting an expanded global reach, showcase our capabilities to attract customers located in the European markets, and continue to support current customers with the attention to quality they have come to expect.” With the addition of Nomaseal s.r.o., Henniges will operate 13 manufacturing plants and five engineering and technology centers in North America, Europe and China.
