New Conti retread factory for truck tires

Continental is investing in a new retread plant for truck tires in Western Europe. Exact details of the location and further details have not yet been released, but the decision was made due to the importance of the retreading business for the company and will assist Conti in delivering its recently realigned ContiLifeCycle concept, which provides customers with a sustainable and efficient service solution.

The plant will see an increase in production of ContiRe products. The collaboration between Conti and its off-take partner, who previously produced the tires will gradually be phased out.
