Rubber Division to meet in Cleveland’s Medical Mart in 2015

$ O( |8 W* A2 t1 R4 {# oAkron, OH - The Rubber Division, American Chemical Society, signed a contract to hold its 2015 International Rubber Expo & Advanced Materials in Health Care, 188th Technical Meeting & Educational Symposium at the Medical Mart & Convention Center (MMCC) in downtown Cleveland, OH. This expo is an expanded version of the Rubber Division’s popular International Rubber Expo and will alternate years with the International Rubber Expo. The International Rubber Expo & Advanced Materials in Health Care was first held at the I-X Center in 2011 and featured over 4,300 attendees, 54,000 square feet of exhibit space, technical symposia and several university and high school programs along with a job fair. The second expanded expo will be held at the I-X Center in 2013. The contract with the MMCC includes options to hold the show at their convention center in 2017 and 2019 as well. The final decision will be made prior to November 30, 2015. Rubber Division, ACS is also looking at holding potential future expositions at the I-X Center, with the intent to hold the International Rubber Expo & Advanced Materials in Health Care show every two years in Cleveland.
