Sun Tyre constructing third plant

Chennai (Madras), India - Sun Tyre & Wheel Systems announced construction of its third plant for the manufacture of solid industrial tyres and related products at a new campus in South India. Soon after completing their acquisition of Watts Lanka Private Limited in Sri Lanka in 2010, Sun-TWS has rapidly expanded capacity of solid resilient and press on band tires at this location, and this year will see additional capacity for solid skid steer tires. The new plant will become operational in the fourth quarter of this year.
