' p! Y8 C5 O, Y; F8 w- qHudson, OH - The Global Polymer Innovation Expo (GPIE) has announced its line up of presenters for its inaugural conference. GPIE will be held in Columbus, Oh August 26-29. The conference will open on Monday, August 27th with a keynote by Dr. Robert D. Atkinson, one of the country’s foremost thinkers on innovation economics and the author of The Race for Global Innovation Advantage. Atkinson will present the topic “The innovation imperative; why innovation is becoming more central to success and what nations around the world are doing to win the race for global innovation advantage.” Atkinson has an extensive background in technology policy, has conducted ground-breaking research projects and has advised national policy makers. He has also testified before Congress and has appeared frequently on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, NPR, and The NBC Nightly News. The conference continues Tuesday, August 28 with Dr. Vijay Govindarajan, the Earl C. Daum 1924 professor of international business at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Govindarajan is one of the world’s leading experts on strategy and innovation and was recently named #3 in the Thinkers50 list. Govindarajan will present “Strategy is innovation” as well as key concepts from his forthcoming book Reverse Innovation: Create Far From Home, Win Everywhere.
