Singapore - The International Rubber Study Group announced that the Korea Tire Manufacturers Association, Societe Internationale de Plantations d’Heveas and Turner & Townsend have joined the IRSG Panel of Associates. The Korea Tire Manufacturers Association (KOTMA) is a non-profit organization, representing the interests of the tire and tube makers in Korea. KOTMA promotes the mutual interests of its members by providing policy recommendations to the government for advanced systems and inter-country regulations related to safety and certification. The association also analyzes statistical data and trends plus surveys the demand and supply position on a global basis. Societe Internationale de Plantations d’Heveas’ main activity is the production and marketing of natural rubber. SIPH’s rubber plantations are all in West Africa and they deliver their rubber mainly to Europe, but also to Asia, North America and South Africa.
