Goodyear recalling 40,000 tires

Akron, OH - Goodyear is voluntarily recalling about 40,000 tires due to concerns of tread separation. Goodyear is recalling six versions of its Wrangler Silent Armor tires made in 2009, including 27,000 in service. Goodyear said Saturday that the separation could happen under what it called “severe usage conditions.” The recall will start by March 22.
