Hexpol reports profits rose 95 percent in 2011

Malmo, Sweden - Hexpol reported fourth quarter net sales increased 58 percent to 1,792 MSEK, while operating profit increased 61 percent over the same period last year to 220 MSEK. Profit after tax increased strongly to 157 MSEK and earnings per share rose strongly to 4.55 SEK. For the year, net sales increased 89 percent to 7,197 MSEK and operating profit rose 95 percent to 895 MSEK. Profit after tax in 2011 increased to 619 MSEK, while earnings per share rose 72 percent to 18.65 SEK.
