Effect of Surface Activity of Carbon Black on the Strength of Filler Network and Filler-Rubber InteractionFANG Liang, LI Qiu-ying, XU Hai-yan, WU Chi-fei Polymer Alloy Laboratory, School of Materials Science and Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai 200237, ChinaAbstract:Nature rubber was grafted on the surface of carbon black (CB) to modify the surface activity of CB via the in situ solid state grafting. Results of bound rubber showed that the surface activity of grafted CB was increased. Influences of the surface activity of CB on the strength of filler network and the filler-rubber interaction were investigated with rubber-process-analyzer (RPA) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). Results showed that compared with the system filled with original CB, the filler-rubber interaction was enhanced and the strength of filler network was decreased for the system filled with grafted CB.[著者文摘]" D5 M8 D( V& B$ {
