Harburg-Freudenberger acquires ZTS-LR NaJUS

Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH, a prominent manufacturer of machines for the tire industry, has announced its acquisition of Slovakian company ZTS-LR NaJUS.
The Dubnica based company has been acquired by Harburg-Freudenberger as it aims to strengthen its rubber mixing technology division. ZTS-LR manufactures specialist machinery with a focus on welded structures, mechanical processing and the assembly of complex components. The absorption into Harburg-Freudenberger, previously one of ZTS-LR’s biggest clients, is set to ‘secure the future availability of inexpensive assemblies and specialized equipment.’

“The sustained positive order situation in our Group requires an expansion of our manufacturing capacities. ZTS-LR NaJUS is an ideal fit in order to fulfill the requirements we set for an additional manufacturing site, which we plan to further expand,” explains Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Limper. “The new location ensures that we can continue to offer our customers competitively-priced, high-quality machines in the future. We can also manufacture all core components at our own sites without a loss of expertise.”
