Japanese chemical specialist Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. has resumed business following the devastating explosion and fire at its Iwakuni-Ohtake works site.- L( h! [- o2 m: X( x$ E3 \/ d
3 M/ S. i) _ gA press release from the company stated that ‘Operations have resumed at the Arlen plant in the Ohtake area’. The Yamaguchi prefecture site was subject to a series of explosions and accompanying fire that killed one employee, whilst injuring several others and severely damaged surrounding buildings and homes.
