My So I am 36 and already have 3 kids 6 and under and didnlt really want to have any more babies so when we had a condom break I ran out and got the morning after pill the very next morning. Took it abpout 12 16 hours after "the incident" and I still got pregnant. I am now 12 weeks due in July so it can and does fail. No ill effects to baby from what my Dr told me. It either works or it doesn't is what she said. I had my period about 2 weeks before I took it so it was probably right around the time I was ovulating. What I don't get is I thought you have to be ovulating to get pregnant or have to have already ovulated and if the MAP doesn't work once you have ovulated it does't seem like it would be that effective since f you hadn't already ovulated you probably woudln't get pregnant anyways. So what's the purpose of the morning after pill. Anyway,justdzone.com/tip-twitter/teories.html, I got knocked up. LOL After this I am getting an IUD FOR SURE. No more unexpected babies for me.

Took Plan B one step two weeks ago as a precaution after skipping a couple pills (oops) and using the pull out method.
