Yokohama to support Chinese manufacturer

The Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd is to supply Shandong Xingda Tyre Co. Ltd., a Chinese manufacturer of off-the-road (OTR) tires for construction and mining vehicles, with technical support regarding OTR radial tires. Yokohama Rubber will off-take a fixed quantity of OTR tires manufactured by Shandong Xingda Tyre.

# K  N( `6 K. m6 p; o) z7 AThe arrangement will begin soon, either mid-summer or after summer, 2012 and the off-take is planned to begin in the latter half of 2013. Tires off-taken will be radial tires 25in or larger, but further details of the contract are yet to be released. Yokohama Rubber will be globally marketing all the off-taken tires under the Yokohama Brand.
