0 Q. ~/ K" e; R- d: KSingapore - The International Rubber Study Group announced that Mexico-based sister companies Industrias Negromex and Dynasol, plus SimmaTrans SA have joined the IRSG Panel of Associates. Dynasol is a global leader in the production of styrene-butadiene copolymer. The joint venture company is the result of the union between Repsol Química and KUO Group. The company manufactures and markets an array of specialty rubbers and elastomers for use in a wide variety of industries, including modified asphalt, adhesives and sealants, polymer modification and compounding. Dynasol has state-of-the-art production plants in Santander, Spain, and Altamira, Mexico. These plants have the capability to produce a combined total of more than 200,000 tons of product annually. Dynasol’s innovative products can be found in many applications in more than 60 countries worldwide. Industrias Negromex is part of KUO Group, one of Mexico’s most important conglomerates. INSA is Mexico’s only producer of emulsion synthetic rubber and nitrile butadiene rubber, and it was the first privately-held company in Mexico to have its own petrochemical terminal to receive and store the raw materials used in the manufacture of synthetic rubber. INSA’s plant is located in the city of Altamira, in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. The plant, which has recently undergone several changes to improve production and processes, has a current capacity of 150,000 metric tons per year. SimmaTrans is a new organization in Chile formed by a strategic alliance between Simma SA and Popayan Ltd. Simma S.A. is a leading supplier of equipment and consumer goods having over 30 years of history with its origins mainly in metal work. It specializes in mining, construction, transport, forestry, agriculture, fisheries/aquaculture and manufacturing industries. Popayan is a distributor of conveyor belts and services with an extensive background and experience in mining and construction in Chile. |
