Houston, TX - After 20 years under the leadership of the Fischer family, a new family will take the reins of Rumber Materials. A group led by brothers Brian and William Adams has purchased the composite materials manufacturer. The group will keep the company's Muenster, TX, plant open, with plans for expanding the company's growing business into new areas. Rumber Materials manufactures composite boards, sheets and molded products from 100 percent recycled tire rubber and plastics. The company name is a combination of the words rubber and lumber. The environmentally-friendly products are said to be stronger and more durable than wood, making them well suited for a variety of industrial and agricultural applications.
