Atlanta, GA - The Rubber Division announced that housing closes July 9 for its July/August courses taking place in Atlanta, GA. Courses include: Compounding for Performance - July 31 - August 1; 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This two-day course is for both entry-level and seasoned rubber technologists alike. It will provide an intensive overview of rubber compounding for product performance and is based on the book, “Rubber Technology and Testing for Performance.” Class is geared towards rubber compounders, rubber chemists, process engineers, product engineers, laboratory managers, R&D scientists, technical representatives and material suppliers. Solving Problems in Rubber Compounding and Processing will be held August 2; 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This course is crucial for anyone in the rubber compounding field. It provides an in-depth look at processing problems in mixing, extrusion, calendering and molding. Statistics and methodologies for solving factory problems and case studies are covered as well. Course includes a copy of the book, “How to Improve Rubber Compounds.” John Dick is the instructor for both courses. |
