Tuomas Mustonen to keynote Ohio Polymer Summit

  s3 \, J8 e/ i- rColumbus, OH - Tuomas Mustonen, vice president, Business Solutions, VTT Technical Research Center of Finland, will be the keynote speaker at the Ohio Polymer Summit in Columbus, OH, June 6-7. Mustonen is responsible for the chemical industry business area at VTT Technical Research Center. His specialty is in development of knowledge intensive research and development services, innovation in networks, research and development outsourcing and commercialization of technology based innovations. VTT is the largest contract research organization in northern Europe, employing over 3,000 scientists and technical personnel and with an annual budget exceeding $300 million. Due to its national responsibility for fostering applied research and development between Finland’s universities and industry, VTT has played a leading role in supporting the development of the Finnish national primary industries such as forestry, paper and pulp, mining, chemicals and steel. In recent years, VTT has been central to the development of modern industries in areas such as cellular telephones and related wireless devices, printed intelligence, healthcare and bioeconomy clusters.
