Qingdao Okin Rubber and Qingdao University to collaborate on sealing R&D

Qingdao, China - Qingdao Okin Rubber Industry signed a contract with the Rubber Professional Research Institution of Qingdao University. The two sides will work together to research and develop new technologies and new materials in rubber and plastic sealing. “Because of EPDM price rises, labor cost increases and more competitors, we need to keep improving our technology in order to get better production efficiency and product quality.” said Song, the CEO of Qingdao Okin Rubber. “(In the) meantime, with the use of the new material of TPV and TPE, we know we need to do better to promote our technology, which will let us stand on the top of the rubber sealing industry. Based on the cooperation with the institution of Qingdao University, we could save some cost and improve our quality.”
