The latest data from the International Trade Commission, USA, shows that China significantly boosted its exports of carbon black to the U.S.

) J1 Z0 G. C! _( z; o7 f8 RAccording to market forecaster, Notch Consulting, the Far East exported around 23,000 metric tons of the raw material to America in 2010, a substantial jump from the previous year when just 701 tons was exported.+ k# g' d+ w& ~1 d4 T

I) }$ Q3 u3 g7 u& ~* WThis rapid expansion of volume has moved China to be the second-largest supplier of the material to the U.S. The number one supplier still remains Canada, despite a fall off in material shifted across the border. 2011 saw 101,731 tons supplied, down from 111,713 for the 2010 year |
