Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe has announced the appointment of Peter McNally to general manager of its European Technical Centre.

McNally takes up the position, formerly held by Gavin Edwards who moved to Cooper’s Asia Technical center, at Melksham, UK, with immediate effect.

Prior to the appointment as general manager, McNally has been with Cooper since 1987. He began as tire technician with the Avon Racing division, before becoming a tire design engineer for motorsport applications.

His final role, before his appointment as general manager was as product and design manager within Avon’s motorcycle technical division, a subsidiary of Cooper
