Torrington, CT - Bomar Specialties, a leading innovator of advanced-performance materials for energy (UV/EB), light and other free radical cure applications, has announced its integration into Dymax, a leading manufacturer of light-curing adhesives, coatings and equipment. As a result of the integration, Bomar Specialties will transition to Dymax Oligomers & Coatings and continue to provide innovative solutions to unique energy-cure application challenges. Dymax, pioneers of light-cure technology more than 30 years ago, co-founded Bomar Specialties in 1990, enabling the company to achieve a secure source of supply while improving product quality and expanding R&D capabilities. Dymax subsequently acquired 100 percent ownership of Bomar Specialties in 2001. The Bomar name, will be retained as a Dymax Oligomers & Coatings brand. Dymax O&C manufactures Bomar oligomers in a 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Torrington, CT.
