Melbourne, Australia - Cardia Bioplastics announced that it has been awarded an annual supply contract for hygiene films made using Cardia Biohybrid technology worth at least $500,000 p.a. Cardia signed the supply deal with a leading American diaper products company. Using the hygiene films made from Cardia Biohybrid technology, the American diaper products company (can not be named due to commercial sensitivity) now offers an environmentally sensitive diaper that uses less petroleum-based and more sustainable materials. In order to complete the product offering, the diapers are packed in an outer packaging also made using Cardia Biohybrid technology.
