Hartalega to triple glove capacity

3 n+ N+ p, l# J7 \+ _5 Y; VKuching, Indonesia - Post Hartalega Holdings announced a new rubber glove manufacturing project, which, when completed, will triple its current annual capacity of 9.7 billion pieces. The project is expected to begin in 2013 and is expected to be completed by 2021 at an estimated cost of RM 1.5 billion and will consist of 70 new high-tech production lines, according to the Borneo Post. The project would be divided into two four-year phases. Phase 1 would see the building of 40 production lines with a total annual capacity of 14 billion and in phase 2, another 30 production lines would be added with a total annual capacity of 38 billion pieces.
