[: AMemphis, TN - Del-Nat Tire will pull 2,663 Chaparral Radial XT tires off the market because of a defect that could increase the chances of a crash, according to the Associated Press. The company says the tires do not meet federal safety standards because they have blistering or bubbles on the sidewall. The recall affects tires made between September 2008 and December 2009. The tires were made in China by Guizhou Tyre. Del-Nat says it will notify owners and dealers and replace the tires for free.
